Pigeons and Thread was born in 2012 from the need for more comprehensive, quality local manufacturing within the Toronto fashion community. We saw the holes in the production cycle and wanted to help fill them.

 

Our small company started with two Ryerson Fashion graduates answering help wanted ads from an old garment factory on Spadina.  As the list of clients got longer, so did the drafting tables and the collection of industrial machines. The has team expanded triple fold in the last two years!

 

We are now a team of twelve who put the quality of our craftsmanship at the forefront of all the products we make. 

 

We focus on all aspects of the garment manufacturing process from consultation, tech-packs, pattern drafting, grading and sewing construction. We have experience working in (almost) any soft good, the construction of props and costume, housewares, accessories, leather goods, and medical prototyping.
